Vote For Alexander Amoroso

My Bio

Alex grew up in lower middle-class home and attended the local school district Montessori and public schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. This was the inspired core of Alex’s values and views on life with not only valuing all people with the diversity of friends and neighbors he grew up knowing on the lower south side of San Jose, California, he was instilled with the value from his father that a good man, and a good person in general, stands up for others, supports and loves all people, and inspires others to their own unique success. Despite economic and personal family issues, Alex graduated with two degrees, one in history and one in liberal arts, from West Valley Community College in 2014, then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in history at San Jose State University in 2017, his master’s in public administration from American Military University in 2021 and is currently in a doctoral program on education and leadership at National University. Alex is also continuing his service in the US Army Reserves, after earning a commission in 2017 with his bachelor’s, and has continued to serve for 10 years with 1 overseas deployment recently completed. The challenges and trials Alex has faced in his life have only made his accomplishments thus far so much greater, but he owes his accomplishments to the family, friends, educators, leaders, mentors, and team members who love and support him. That is why Alex, with all of his achievements, is determined to give the same opportunities of success to all people who seek his guidance, knowledge, and leadership, and he will give them 100% of his effort to help them achieve the hard and fought for benefits he knows they deserve.

My Key Issues

Housing, Environment, Education, Transit, All Supported by Good Paying Jobs and a Motivated Community

Alex believes in creating affordable housing by working with local businesses and commercial developers —not relying solely on government-run projects. By streamlining processes and building smart partnerships, we can meet housing needs faster and more efficiently and in new and different ways such as with cohousing projects meeting sustainability requirements and workforce housing meeting the needs of the community and local economy.
